CANADA CHÍNH THỨC MỞ CỬA LẠI ĐÓN SINH VIÊN QUỐC TẾ

SmartA - Theo thông tin từ Bộ Di Trú và Nhập Tịch Canada, các cơ sở giáo dục được cấp phép (Designated learning institutions - DLI) và có kế hoạch ứng phó COVID-19 đã được chính quyền cấp tỉnh hoặc vùng lãnh thổ của họ phê duyệt có thể sớm chào đón sinh viên quốc tế đến nhập học kể từ ngày 20 tháng 10 năm 2020.

Điều này áp dụng cho sinh viên quốc tế hiện không ở Canada và những người:

- Có, hoặc đã được chấp thuận giấy phép học tập (Study Permit) tham gia học tại trường nằm trong danh sách DLI mới được phê duyệt.
- Đang đi du lịch đến Canada với mục đích thiết yếu (không tùy ý)

Để có thể mở lại cho sinh viên quốc tế hiện không ở Canada, các trường có DLI phải có kế hoạch ứng phó với COVID-19 được tỉnh hoặc vùng lãnh thổ của họ phê duyệt nhằm mục đích:

- Bảo vệ sức khỏe và sự an toàn của tất cả học sinh và cộng đồng xung quanh
- Đưa ra được kế hoạch và phương án trường sẽ quản lý khoảng thời gian cách ly 14 ngày bắt buộc đối với sinh viên quốc tế, bao gồm cả việc sắp xếp vận chuyển đến địa điểm cách ly của sinh viên.
- Cung cấp thông tin và hỗ trợ cho sinh viên quốc tế về
- + Làm thế nào sinh viên có thể nhận được các nhu yếu phẩm cần có trong quá trình cách ly như thực phẩm và thuốc
- + Bảo hiểm y tế
- + Đảm bảo học sinh, sinh viên khỏe mạnh khi ở Canada
- Các kế hoạch ứng phó cũng thiết lập các quy trình sức khỏe cần thiết nếu phát hiện các trường hợp nghi ngờ hoặc xác nhận nhiễm COVID-19 tại trường.

Bạn phải đang theo học tại một trong các DLI được chấp thuận bao gồm sau đây mới có thể đến Canada. Nếu trường học sinh đăng kí không bao gồm danh sách DLI được công bố, du học sinh tạm thời sẽ không thể sang Canada để học tập vào thời điểm này. Theo cập nhất mới nhất, các trường hiện tại đang nỗ lực làm việc với chính quyền tỉnh bang để được phê duyệt kế hoạch ứng phó COVID 19.

Danh sách các trường DLI này sẽ được bộ Di trú cập nhật liên tục sau khi chính quyền cấp tỉnh hoặc vùng lãnh thổ của các trường này chấp thuận kế hoạch ứng phó COVID-19 của họ.
